Taking inspiration from illustrations by amateur naturalists from the Victorian Era, these prints visually compare parts of human anatomy--the heart, a lock of hair, lost teeth--to bird paraphernalia--a nest, an eggshell, a feather. All of these objects, whether human or avian, have a certain sentimentality attached to them so that the meaning becomes less scientific and more personal, creating a kind of visual encyclopedia of nostalgia.
